Product Enhancements

Enhancing the capabilities of TACTIC and its documentation is an ongoing activity.  Software enhancements are released periodically as new versions of the software.  Documentation enhancements are released periodically as part of a new version of the user's manual.  

Enhancements are available to registered users as part of the TACTIC maintenance program.  In addition, authorized new users can download the software and documentation for new installations.

TACTIC downloads

To download the current released version of TACTIC and its documentation, make sure you have the download page user name and password ready.  When you are ready, click go to the download page.

Download procedure

If you entered the correct user name and password, the download page will appear.  It contains items for download.  

• To upgrade TACTIC, you will need to check your current version.  If it is older than the listed version, you will then need to click the new version to download it.  After the download is complete, you will need to follow the enhancement instructions, or refer to the TACTIC user's manual to complete the upgrade.
• For new TACTIC documentation, you will need to check your current user's manual version.  If it is older than the listed version, you will need to click the new user's manual version to download it.  The TACTIC user's manual is provided as an Adobe pdf file.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4 to open and print it.  If you don't already have version 4 on your computer you can download it for free from Adobe.
• For new TACTIC installations, you will need to click the current version to download it.  After the download is complete, you will need to follow the new installation instructions or refer to the TACTIC user's manual to complete the installation.  Once installation is complete, you will need to contact the support staff to obtain a software security key.
