Waterloo Manufacturing Software offers both general and application specific training courses for TACTIC. The courses provide hands-on education about the application, use and management of TACTIC’s planning and scheduling features. The courses are specifically designed for manufacturing planning and scheduling professionals who will be using, or directly supporting, TACTIC. They help those who investigate and develop workable solutions to planning and scheduling related problems. The can benefit:
- Those who are new to TACTIC
- Those needing to refresh their TACTIC skills
- Those who need to extend TACTIC’s existing or enhanced features
General training
General training – uses representative manufacturing data and problems to introduce or to refresh the use of TACTIC’s features. This course can be conducted at your site or at other facilities. While a course outline is typically used, the content of this course can vary to fit the specific planning and scheduling problems and unique manufacturing situations of the attendees.
Specific training
Specific training – is conducted using your actual or simulated company data. It is directed to your specific manufacturing problems to introduce or to refresh the use of TACTIC’s features. This course is most often conducted at your site. It is also frequently a step in an TACTIC overall implementation plan, which might be developed as part of an advanced planning and scheduling workshop.
